UNDER SEIGE

so,
i have talked about this before;
how
i seen Under Siege every year since 1996
and i
always forgot how many people are in it
and
how its Segal's best by far/tho only really Die Hard on a boat
with a chef
but always surprised me
late nights
on tv.

so last year
when
the cold white earth was cracked into some personal apocalypse
and the black rain froze up all and any progressive thoughts
i bought
Under Seige on Blu-ray
as help/as therapy/as an attempt to pass time
in
an
approximation of peace and relaxation; i called on Casey Rybeck
to
lift me up . . .

but,
i couldn't watch it/my new cat scratched sofa became
hard as rock under me - nothing was enjoyable in the place i was.

so,
in reflection and looking back from a better place
i am hoping
this draws a line
under
Under Siege
for good.
